Running, cycling, rugby, football, whatever your sport your body needs energy.

The Basics:

Energy and Endurance - The Diet

  • Eat 5-6 well balanced meals per day which contain ample complex carbohydrates.
  • Consume vegetables and fruit that contain antioxidants
  • Consume at least 3 grams of Omega 3 fatty acids per day
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day
  • Consume adequate protein throught the day, Instant Whey is a great way to boost protein intake.
  • Avoid excess alcohol
  • Avoid all refined carbohydrates like sugar, dextrose, glucose syrup, maltodextrin and white flour
  • Do not eat red meat more than 1 or 2 times a week.
  • Guarantee your vitamin and mineral intake by taking Nexgen®

Energy and Endurance - The Training

  • Use a variety of training methods. Circuit training, sprint training, running etc. 
  • Use weight training to maintain lean muscle and strengthen bones
  • Avoid overtraining which can quickly lead to a weakened immune system and or injuries.
